Shows Of India Conclave held its 4th Edition at the brand new hotel Aurika, Mumbai Skycity at Andheri East, the luxury brand of Lemon Tree Hotels. This is special for me as it was hosted by my dearest friend, Deepak Choudhary (Founder and MD of EVA Live and EVENTFAQS Media), hence goes without saying that this one has my full support.

To all those who may not be familiar with this event, it serves as a showcase and a forum for discussions among all the intellectual property (IP) owners of the country. They share their stories, experiences, and offer valuable insights to young entrepreneurs who are eager to explore the world of IPs

Intellectual properties encompass a wide range of creations, and some examples include Tata IPL, which is not only the biggest in the country but possibly in the world. Other examples of IPs in terms of events include Tata Marathon, Lolla Palooza, Sunburn, Lil Flea Market, etc. These events focus on creating immersive experiences for the audience, where experience becomes a key aspect.
During the event, the masters of these experience creators share their knowledge, further enriching the understanding of IP and its role in shaping audience engagement and interaction.

The inauguration ceremony, led by esteemed industry professionals, emphasized the importance of the Conclave in driving discussions on IPs, concerts, and other live entertainment formats. It was inspiring to witness something so helpful and knowledgeable.
Throughout the day, I jumped from one stage to the next to gain insights from panel discussions covering various topics, including IP Start-Ups, the evolution of artists as entrepreneurs, and the emerging electronic culture, among others.
The panel on Gen Z Formats particularly resonated with me, as it highlighted the changing trends in touring and festival culture in India. Believe me, India is now experiencing growth in this segment, and we should prepare for many IPs with great experiences to emerge in the near future.

The highlight for me was the session by Roshan Abbas on Spoken Fest, his IP. He is an institution and there is always something to learn from him.

Later that evening, I had the opportunity to officially announce WOW Awards Asia 2024 on stage to industry stalwarts and participants of Shows Of India. WOW Awards Asia has been curated by me under my brand, Nautanki Company, and I take much pride in the way it has shaped up over the last two years. If you’re reading this, block your dates for August 17th and 18th, 2024, as this event will take place at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai.

The sessions concluded with cocktails, entertainment, and some great food. Shows of India truly stepped up several notches higher, and today I can see the potential it carries for the times to come.
Accolades to Megha Ghosh, the Co-Curator of Shows of India, who organized this event with great content. Content is king, and I truly believe that, and in our cases, CONTENT is QUEEN 😉
